Design, or make yourself, a photo wall decoration for someone you care about! I myself have designed a gorgeous wall decoration of Hulda at Ifolor (link), and I could really consider making one for anyone with a photo about something they value. If your budget doesn't stretch to a designed wall decoration, you could make one by yourself - just print the picture you want and put it in a nice frame.

A gift card is simple, since the receiver can decide for themselves how and when tu use it. The traditional gift cards are usually intended for a certain shop, in equestrian's cases mostly tack stores, and the sum is free of choice. But if you want to create something personal, come up with your own gift card! Examples: if you live with your parents (even if you don't), how about a cleaning- or cooking gift card (cleaning the entire house or cooking a delicious dinner at an agreed time)? Or a feeding/stable cleaning gift card for the stable owner (one or many feeding shifts at an agreed date), caretaking gift card for your friend's horse, or something to do together? Only the sky is the limit when planning a personalized gift card!

Jos tunnet (täysi-ikäisen) hevosystävän, joka myös nauttii viinistä - mikäs sen nokkelampi lahja kuin hevosaiheinen viinipullo? Tällä hetkellä Alkossa ei taida ihan hirmu montaa viinipulloa löydy hevosmotiivilla, mutta ainakin kalifornialaiselta viinituottajalta Dark Horselta näkyisi löytyvän sekä punaista että valkoista viiniä hevosenkuvalla varustettuna. Koska blogiani lukevat myös alaikäiset, en julkaise linkkiä sivustolle. Viinipulloonhan voi myös teettää tai tilata personoidun etiketin, jos haluaa antaa uniikin lahjan.

If you know an equestrian friend of legal age, who also enjoys wine - what would be a more clever gift than an equestrian-inspired wine bottle? I don't think Alko has too many wines with an equestrian themed label on right now, but there is at least the Californian wine producer Dark Horse, that has both a white and a red bottle designed with their signature horsehead. Since there also may be kids reading this blog I will not post a link to the website. If you want to personalize the wine bottle even more, you could order or design a label of your own!

Itse tykkään toisinaan leipoa, ja useana vuotena olen leiponut kavereille ja sukulaisille kaikkea poro-pikkuleivistä biscottikekseihin, ja olen harkinnut suklaakonvehtien tai kuivakakkujenkin tekemistä mutta ne ovat toistaiseksi jääneet toteuttamatta. Inspiraatiota saa jälleen netistä, mutta huomioithan lahjan saajan mahdolliset allergiat ennen kuin ryhdyt leipomaan.
Myös hepalle voi leipoa itse tehtyjä heppanameja :)

I like to bake, and for many christmases I have baked something for my friends and relatives, for example reindeer cookies and biscottis. I have considered chocolates and fruit cakes as well, but have not yet been completed... You can again google for inspiration, but remember to consider the allergies of the person who receives the gift.
You can also bake treats for your horse :)

Hevosille ei nyt tullutkaan heppanameja enempää lahjaideoita, mutta tarpeellisten varusteiden lisäksi voisin ehdottaa hierontaa, pitkää maastolenkkiä (jos hevosesi pitää maastoilusta), pitkä hoitotuokio tai vauhdikas laukkapätkä lumihangessa, jos hevosesi on vauhdikkaampi kaveri. Mielikuvitus käyttöön ja joululahjoja suunnittelemaan!
